This film is what many would classify as a b movie, but I for one found it a careful, well casted and acted, loving throwback to the gritty cop flicks of the 70's, something in the vein of Joe Carnahan's Narc, or even Training Day. 4) Expect this storytelling to be very different from the common Hollywood dramatic model. Overall, worth seeing but would have been better as a TV show like "Blue Bloods" or "NYPD Blue". James woods steals every scene he is in and gives the film some strength. The excitement isn't in this film as you expect. One thing that makes it very confusing is the flashback sequences that you don't realize are flashbacks. But when the stranger finally comes forward, seeking revenge against the men responsible for a string of assaults on young women at a local strip club, Callahan must go rogue to find the attacker in an effort to hide how his own past played a part in these crimes. We won’t be able to verify your ticket today, but it’s great to know for the future.Regal

Mystery & Suspense, But engaging. The beginning is slow and somewhat hard to follow but midway through it really picks up and finishes well. At least he had Purcell for company, now a veteran of such garbage. It`s heart-pounding and wickedly entertaining from start to finish. The stories have twists but you can't care if the script lacks any direction for its characters. Dominic Purcell and Anna Lynn what's her face.. Come on! Basically none of it made sense and left me feeling rather unsatisfied - kinda like I had just wasted 100 minutes of my life because that's exactly what I had done! And with a film that approximately 1hr37mins that's pushing my limits on clarity (or as the politicians call it, transparency).
