Another in the same family of plants is the lavender karvy flower (Strobilanthes callosus) that are also found to bloom on the Nilgiris but can have a shorter bloom cycle. I'd sure like to see it. I think it's probably smaller then the arum, but also have a feeling that purists discount the arum because biologically it's not a 'true' flower. Wouldn't you just love to see it in person? When I look at the size of the plant and the size of the container it can be grown in, I cannot believe that is possible.I like to grow plants in containers.
