In the shadows of Sleeping Giant Mountain in the Nausori Highlands, the Garden of the Sleeping Giant is a horticultural paradise, bursting with flowers, lily ponds, and lush rain forest. Guests have a choice of 2 restaurants, a bar and 2 swimming pools. In September I had my wedding in Fiji at the Garden of the sleeping giant.
We had the whole venue to ourselves and was able to bring in anything that we liked.This garden which houses 2000 orchids is a welcome retreat from the bustle of the resorts. We loved it here. We took a cab and walked the grounds for a good amount of time. Thanks to its discrete location, the beautifully landscaped garden may just be one of the South Pacific’s best-kept horticultural secrets. This is a really nice, calm an cool area to calm down.What a lovely place! Once you’re done, you get a complimentary juice, which is very tasty. This garden displays Fiji’s largest orchid collection, unfortunately we had less than 30 minutes which wasn’t enough time to soak up the unique … It is easy to self guide and has little spots for quiet reflection or to admire the beauty of the rainforest.
